"International Collaboration for Global Progress: Towards a Sustainable and Connected Future"

Welcome to the ICEEET 2026

The 2026 IEEE International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEEET) represents a new chapter in the continuing journey of the International Electrical Engineering Conference series, which was initiated in 2016. Following the successful conduct of the 11th edition earlier in 2026, this conference marks the twelfth edition of this established academic forum and the first edition under the new IEEE-approved title, ICEEET.

The revised title reflects the expanding scope of the conference and aligns with its broader academic and technical direction, covering not only core areas of electrical engineering but also emerging technologies that are shaping the future of engineering, innovation, and sustainable development.
The 2026 edition carries the theme: “International Collaboration for Global Progress: Towards a Sustainable and Connected Future.” This theme reflects the growing importance of global partnerships in research, innovation, and professional engagement. As engineering systems become increasingly interconnected and sustainability becomes central to development worldwide, collaboration among institutions, industries, researchers, and countries has become essential. ICEEET 2026 aims to provide a vibrant platform for researchers, engineers, academicians, industry professionals, policymakers, and students to exchange ideas, present high-quality research, and explore innovative solutions to contemporary engineering challenges.

A defining milestone of this edition is its international collaborative nature. The conference is being organized by NED University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Kandy, Sri Lanka. This partnership represents an important step in strengthening academic ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and expanding the international footprint of the conference series.

The conference will be held on 17–18 October 2026 in Kandy, Sri Lanka, in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend physically or join virtually from anywhere in the world. This inclusive mode is intended to encourage wider participation and provide greater accessibility for researchers, professionals, and students across the globe.

Keynote Speakers

Title: Intelligent Robotics for Sustainable Marine and Industrial Applications

Title: Bio-inspired algorithm for dynamic navigation in cluttered and confined space

Title: Powering the digital future: Grid challenges and protection consideration for data centers and emerging high density loads.

Publication and Indexing

ICEEET 2026 has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the IEEE Sri Lanka Section to support the publication process of the conference proceedings in IEEE Xplore. The initial document review stage has been successfully completed, and the application has been submitted to IEEE Global for final approval.

Publication of accepted papers in IEEE Xplore will be subject to IEEE requirements and final approval by IEEE experts.

Conference Tracks

The ICEEET 2026 invites high-quality original research papers in the following areas:
    • Renewable Energy Technologies
    • Control and Robotics Engineering
    • Software Engineering
    • Power Systems and Instrumentation
    • Emerging Quantum Technologies
    • Telecommunication Technologies

The ICEEET 2026 aspires to serve as a dynamic knowledge-sharing platform that bridges academia and industry while strengthening international collaboration for sustainable technological advancement. Researchers and professionals from around the world are warmly invited to contribute and participate in this landmark edition.

Best Paper Award

TPC selects 3 papers from each track based on the reviewer’s comments and the overall marks given by them. Those papers will be evaluated by a judging panel while presenting for the best paper awards. The judge panel will include IEEE members within the organization unit and from outside the organization unit.
